The ‘Blues’ will be coming to Sandton’s Old Mutual Theatre on the Square on
Sunday 9th September for one performance only. Local concert producer,
Anthony Yoko will present his latest production - A STORY OF THE BLUES. The concert will feature the outstanding U.K. blues guitarist and vocalist Mike Rowe, together with South Africa’s leading blues guitarist, Wayne Coughlan.

Blues Harmonica player, Craig McKinnon.
The musicians will take the audience on a musical journey, commencing with some old blues from the Mississippi Delta, where it all began, moving through the years right up to the time when the blues influenced the origins of Rock n Roll.
Along the way, they will warm to the fascinating stories and anecdotes about some of the great blues musicians of the time, narrated with great verve by
Apart from compositions by Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson and B.B.King, the band’s repertoire includes some exciting renditions of tunes made famous by Jimi Hendricks and Eric Clapton, to name but a few.
